Disciple Now, typically referred to as DNow, is essentially a weekend retreat for our students from 7-12 grade. We will begin the evening of January 30th, and wrap up right after worship on Sunday February 1st. Students will stay in host homes of trusted church members that work with the youth ministry. Each group will have a leader that is either from the church or is a personal friend of the church. All host homes and leaders have a background check before serving. We will have a speaker and band that make up our 3 worship sessions that are then followed up with small group  discussion. Our speaker is Jason Simon, a friend of mine and youth minister at University Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Jason and Robert became friends through working together putting on Encounter Week, the Summer Camp FBC West Youth Ministry attends annually. Our band is led by Casey Escue from FBC Woodway. Meals will be provided all day Saturday and Sunday morning. We will have our annual Glow in the Dark Dodgeball tournament as well as a bake off Saturday afternoon!
