"I want both those who call the West area home, as well as those who are traveling through, to know they will feel welcomed and accepted at FBC West."
- Pastor John Crowder
Do not neglect hospitality, because through it some
have entertained angels without knowing it.

What to Expect
When you arrive at church
Our main parking lot is located across the street on W. Virginia, but there is also a parking lot on N. Marable and another one behind the church. Once inside, you will be welcomed by our greeters who will direct you and your family to the right place and answer any questions.
If you have a baby
You are welcome to bring your infant into the worship center. You can, however, take advantage of our supervised nursery with skilled and loving caregivers. We also have a "cry room" with a one-way window that will let you take your baby out of the worship center for a while but still be a part of what's happening.
As you enter the worship center
Ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating. They will also give you a worship guide as you enter the worship center.
Still have questions?
We would love to help. Call 254-826-5165 or email us!
In the pew racks you will find a green "Welcome Card." Please fill out that card and place it in the offering plate as it comes by at the end of our worship time. That will give us a chance to get to know you a little better. About halfway through the worship time, we will have a "Children's Message" in which children (up to age 9 or 10) are invited to come to the front for some time with the pastor. After the Children's Message, kids who are in Kindergarten or younger may choose to follow some of our children's workers to "Children's Church" which is a special Bible study and play time for young children. They will remain there until worship is over.
Our worship services
Our worship time is 10:15 a.m. each Sunday. We have a balanced style of worship. Sometimes we use a band-driven praise team for contemporary choruses and other times we sing traditional hymns. The message will be relevant, encouraging, and scriptural.
You are invited to meet the pastor in the foyer. There is also a "Welcome Center" kiosk in the foyer where you can ask questions and receive a gift bag on your first visit. We look forward to meeting you!
